Start Small; Dream Big

We are delighted that Rossmere Academy has been selected to take part in the exciting pilot programme ‘Start Small; Dream Big’. The aim of the programme is to improve careers education in primary schools across England and we are proud to be involved with this pilot.

Start Small; Dream Big is part of the government’s drive to ensure all young people are supported to develop the right skills and knowledge to enable them to thrive in their future careers. Research shows that children can fix their aspirations and create future-limiting stereotypes by as young as six years of age. At Rossmere Academy we are focused on widening aspirations and challenging stereotypes so that children keep an open mind about the world of work and life beyond Rossmere.
