Junior Leadership Roles

Rossmere children are given many opportunities to learn the skills and characteristics of leadership. They apply for their positions of responsibility and are either selected by a member of staff or voted for by the other children. Within every class children take on responsibilities as monitors. One aspect of our provision that supports this, is offering opportunities to become a ‘Junior Leader’ in many different roles that:

• Builds their skill set
• Focuses on their strengths
• Gives the opportunity to talk to a variety of different people
• Takes into account their views and wishes
