School Curriculum

Curriculum 

From January 2023 our curriculum has been adapted to become more holistic. Although we will still have a focus on the development of basic skills in the subjects of reading, writing and maths, we have chosen a wider curriculum that will engage our children as independent learners and allow them to pursue their interests.

Every morning all children will have a maths lesson that focuses on developing and securing their basic skills of arithmetic until they have achieved mastery of the subject.

There is also a daily English lesson that focuses on teaching phonics, reading, spelling, grammar and punctuation. Children will put their new skills into practice as part of their Project Work every afternoon.
